At Sunco Exterior Solutions, the health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. As a trusted and established company, we continue to hold ourselves to the highest standards of safety and sanitation.

With details of the Coronavirus / COVID-19 unfolding at a rapid pace, we would like to keep our customers informed as to what we are doing to keep both your family and ours safe and healthy.

We are diligently watching all updates from the CDC, the state of South Carolina and other reputable news agencies, and following all CDC guidelines, while continuing to provide the excellent service that you have come to expect from Sunco.

As of now we are deemed an essential service due to the cleaning/sanitizing nature of our business.

In addition, all of our technicians have been briefed on workplace preparedness for COVID-19 in accordance with OSHA guidance. Although this specific training has not been made mandatory by OSHA nor the CDC, we feel that it is in everyone’s best interest to remain educated and prepared through current events.

Going the extra mile:

We have set systems in place to mitigate exposure to bacteria / germs / viruses over the years, but we will also be setting new precedents to further protect all involved. Some of these new services include:

We have made our estimates and invoices completely paperless. We will email invoices for credit card payment that can be made securely online. We will also take payments by check that can be mailed, or preferably left at your front door or under a mat. We will reach out via email to arrange whatever payment option works best for you. Our sales rep Joe does not need to have any contact for an estimate. He will walk around the property, not touch anything, and email you the estimate.
Or we can reschedule interior work for later down the road and still provide the exterior cleaning/sanitizing.
To further limit exposure, we will be following CDC guidelines in regards to social distancing. This includes giving our clients plenty of space, and banning handshakes for the time being. Additionally, none of our staff has any plans or desire to be in large crowds of any sort until the COVID-19 threat has passed.
If any of our employees are sick, they will stay home. We pay our employees a good wage, and most have paid time off they have accrued. We will test for fevers every morning and every afternoon after their shifts.

We do understand that allergy season is upon us and we will all be sniffling because of pollen soon. Luckily, COVID-19 symptoms do not present in a similar manner to seasonal allergies.

We also ask that you let us know if you or anyone in your household is sick. This protects our family as well as yours. We will work with you to postpone your service until everyone feels better.

As we take these measures and more, please know that all of us at Sunco are ready, willing and able to support you and our community during this challenging time.

We are also available to provide sanitizing services. Our soft wash mixture contains Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5%. It is twice as strong as normal household bleach and is an approved sanitizer by the CDC. That combined with our hot water pressure washers allow us to be able to help prevent the spread of the virus by sanitizing things like shopping carts, apartment breezeways, playgrounds, store fronts, houses and all other high traffic areas. If you know of anyone that you can put in touch with us that could use this preventative service please pass this along to them. We are going to try our best to help as many places with this as we can while also trying to keep our staff making money to get through this downturn.

A final note: please remember to support your local small businesses throughout these events. Small restaurants, boutiques, service shops and even cleaning companies are here and happy to serve you.

We’re all in this together; and as a small, family owned cleaning company, we will weather the storm together. We will of course keep you updated with all need-to-know information as we move forward.

Please contact us with any questions or concerns.
